Upadrasta Dairy Specialities Ltd was established with the main objective of manufacturing of dairy products especially pure ghee or desi ghee (butter oil) and hence has a unique niche for itself for manufacturing ghee as per the requirement of the end user or application. The company is set up in Cherlapally in 2000 Sq meters of land with ample facilities and is centrally located for procurement as well as transport.
The company is headed by Mr. Patanjali Rao Upadrasta who has vast experience in the dairy field spanning over 18 years. The unit was established in the year 1995 and has a rich experience in manufacture, enjoying a 100% market share in terms of getting tailor made ghee specially boiled to enable the end user to have the perfect blend, granularity and flavour for their use.
The company sells its ghee under the Brand name 'SURUCHI' and is one of the few companies that is licensed and certified by the Indian central grading department 'AGMARK'. The company specializes in the manufacture of the following qualities of ghee. They are
1. Full boiled south Indian Brown ghee.
2. Half boiled north Indian white ghee.
3. Cow ghee.
The Ghee is sold in pack size of 20ml, 50ml, 100ml, 200ml, 500ml, 1000ml and bulk packing of 15kg tins.
